On October 18, the Shandong Heavy Industry·Weichai Power Global Partners Conference was held in Qingdao, Shandong. At the event, the new LHY hydraulic brand was officially launched worldwide, marking the upgrade of Weichai's hydraulic brand from "Linde Hydraulic" to "LHY." This signifies that the century-old brand, which inherits German technological heritage, is accelerating its journey toward becoming a global leader in hydraulic systems.

LHY has traversed 121 years, a century-old brand that remains evergreen. In 1904, its predecessor Linde Hydraulics was founded in Munich, Germany, and relocated to Aschaffenburg in 1907. From developing the world's first hydrostatic drive vehicle to introducing the iconic 02 series of pumps and motors in the 1980s, it has consistently led industry advancements through technological innovation.
In 2012, after being strategically restructured by Weichai Group, Linde Hydraulics embarked on a path of global development through Sino-German collaboration. Weichai continued to ramp up overseas investments, establishing a new intelligent hydraulic manufacturing plant in Germany to build an advanced technical R&D platform and automated production capabilities. The profound expertise of German manufacturing has infused Weichai's hydraulic endeavors with robust quality assurance and innovation capabilities. Meanwhile, Weichai's investment of 2 billion RMB in a hydraulic R&D and manufacturing base in Weifang, China, has provided a solid platform for advancing key hydraulic technologies and translating research outcomes into practical applications.
The brand upgrade of Weichai Hydraulic to LHY represents both the inheritance of Linde Hydraulic's century-old technological heritage and a strategic transformation for the future. As a unified new brand identity, the launch of LHY signifies not just a logo but also a global commitment. LHY embodies the meticulous craftsmanship spirit of Germany and the systematic innovation capability of China, encompassing a complete product system ranging from core hydraulic components to hydraulic powertrains. It is widely applicable across diverse scenarios such as construction machinery, agricultural equipment, and port logistics, serving customers worldwide.

Behind the brand upgrade of LHY lies continuous technological innovation. As a leading force in the global hydraulic industry, LHY consistently prioritizes technological innovation as its core competitive advantage. Supporting this advantage is LHY's established "two countries and three regions" global R&D system. This collaborative global R&D model has become LHY's core strength in technological innovation.
As of now, LHY has secured 593 independent intellectual property patents, including 106 invention patents, establishing a core technological barrier for global development. Through years of collaborative growth, LHY has established four production bases worldwide, with eight subsidiaries in Europe, the U.S., and China, as well as over 60 sales and service partners across more than 50 countries. This has formed a global production network spanning Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas, creating an international development framework of "German R&D + Chinese manufacturing + global services," truly achieving global operations.
