Nonprofit leader Robert Hahn, known for his work as CEO of End Hunger in Calvert County, has launched a new personal website: https://www.roberthahnleader.com/. The platform shares stories, strategies, and insights from Hahn’s decades-long fight against hunger in underserved communities.
“For over 30 years, I’ve worked with food pantries, donors, farmers, and families,” Hahn said. “This website is a place to share what I’ve learned—and to help others who want to act.”
The site documents Hahn’s time leading programs that delivered over 2 million pounds of food, developed workforce training for food-insecure adults, and built lasting partnerships across local and global networks. With hunger still affecting 1 in 8 Americans, Hahn believes it’s time for more people to step into the work.
Why It Matters
-
34 million Americans experience food insecurity each year (USDA)
-
9 million of those are children
-
Up to 40% of food in the U.S. is wasted
-
Rural communities face the highest food access challenges due to distance and lack of infrastructure
“We don’t need more good intentions,” Hahn said. “We need practical tools, strong partnerships, and better logistics.”
What You’ll Find on the Site:

-

-

This site isn’t about one person’s story—it’s a guide for anyone ready to take a first step. Whether you’re a student, business owner, faith leader, or retiree, Hahn’s message is clear: “You don’t need permission to help people eat. You just need to start.”
