Neurodiversity Celebration Week Unveils Full Panel Line-Up for 2025

-- The organisers of Neurodiversity Celebration Week (NCW) are thrilled to announce the full panel line-up for the 2025 campaign, set to take place from March 17th to 23rd. This year's event will feature 24 free virtual events over five days, engaging an anticipated audience in dynamic and informative discussions centered on neurodiversity.

Building on the outstanding success of last year, which saw participation from 139 countries and over 60,000 registrations, the 2025 NCW campaign aims to expand its reach and impact. The event schedule promises a wide range of topics covering neurodiversity in various contexts, from the workplace to mental health, and extending to families and carers. Notably, the 2025 campaign introduces exciting new discussions on topics such as neurodiversity and nutrition, and neurodiversity in the criminal justice system.

One of the highlights of this year’s NCW is the inaugural youth panel titled, "What does neurodiversity mean to young people today?" Chaired by Dr. Tony Lloyd, this panel will feature five inspiring young advocates from the UK National Neurodiversity Youth Council. These leaders, who represent leading UK charities for Dyslexia, ADHD, Tourette’s, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, and Autism, will share their insights and lived experiences. They are regularly engaged in speaking at international conferences, influencing policymakers, and striving for equality in education, healthcare, employment, and economic independence. Their mission is to ensure that neurodivergent young people are heard, valued, and empowered.

Additionally, the campaign will feature a critical session on neurodiversity in the criminal justice system, chaired by Professor Amanda Kirby. Experts will discuss the unique challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals in legal settings and explore opportunities for systemic reform, particularly focusing on reducing barriers to employment and reintegration into society.

Neurodiversity Week is a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences and aims to transform how neurodivergent individuals are perceived and supported. In partnership with Lexxic, a leading specialist psychological consultancy and pioneers in the field of neurodiversity, NCW continues to advocate for a world where all minds belong.

Event Schedule and Resources: The event schedule and a range of updated resources for 2025 are now available on the NCW website, which includes activities for schools, universities, and organizations, as well as presentations, key neurodiversity research, a brand-new social media pack, and suggestions on how you can celebrate neurodiversity throughout the week.

Neurodiversity Celebration Week welcomes everyone to get involved and help support a worldwide culture of neuro-inclusivity. All events and resources are free to attend and access.
